It always made me giggle during the pre-season whenever I see a driver or team say

Okay, so I recently had a citation for driving without insurance. My family then immediately added my name onto their insurance and so I now do have insurance. However, I got a letter from the DMV saying that because I was in an accident with no insurance, my license is suspended for 3 years. It says I have to file a SR-22 form to get it re-instated. My question is, if I get an SR-22 form now, then will my premium rates go up as soon as I request my SR-22, or will it go up next time I renew my premium? Does it even go up at all? Thanks!
